GCSE Result Collection

Y11 Results Day 2017

Our students will be able to collect their results on Thursday August 24 [ 10am - 12.00] from the Engineering Centre.

If you are unable to make it to your school on results day you can nominate a person such as a relative or friend to go to your school and collect your results on your behalf. However, this has to be agreed by the school beforehand and you will have to sign a letter of consent to allow the other person to collect your results.

This year will be the first time ever that a numbers-based grading system will be used, with English and maths students getting a score from 1-9 rather than U-A*.

A School of Choice

BUILDING WORK HAS STARTED!

The re-building of Top Valley Academy began over the October half term 2015 with the building of the access road and site compound. Carillion's aim is to build a high quality, cost-effective, school with the minimum possible disruption to children's learning. For this reason the project is phased so that construction and demolition are co-ordinated over the building period.

Time Line

  • Work begins week commencing 26 October 2015
  • Site compound and access road from Top Valley Drive
  • Initial demolition of small Drama Studio from 6 - 19 January 2016
  • New Sports Hall construction begins November 2015
  • Sports Hall completed by June 2016
  • Demolition of old Sports Hall and Drama Studio - Summer Holidays (July/August 2016)

The building will be ready in September 2017.
